Commissioning a beautiful pastel or oil painting of a much loved pet can be a wonderful gift. I really enjoy creating a special painting; I like the portrait to definitely capture the character of your pet and paint the rest of the picture with a ‘painterly’, loose and sometimes slightly impressionist style background so that the animal is the focus. There are examples of many pet portrait commissions on my instagram site and this website.

Please email me the photograph that you would like painting. It can be helpful to have a few photographs to look at and we can then decide which would be best suited for the painting.
Please allow approximately 6 weeks for me to complete the work from when the painting is started. If there is an anticipated delay during a busy period, I will inform you of this before you pay a deposit. The 10% deposit is paid once we agree on the reference photograph.
Prices start at £250.00 for A4 size (29.7 cmx 21 cm) including shipping
Please note: price does not include framing
If the painting is not for delivery locally (in or near Shropshire) an oil painting travels better and can be painted on a linen box canvas if you wish to avoid the additional cost of framing, hanging directly on to a wall. If a framed oil painting is preferred, I can paint onto canvas board or paper.
